Fall Dishes

I had a little outpatient surgery earlier this week, and as I’ve bed in bed recovering, I have had plenty of time to watch cooking shows and read foodie blogs. I’ve discovered a few recipes that are decidedly fall. And since there has been a bit of chill in the air, our tastebuds are ready for some apples, corn, caramel, and such.

Spicy Roasted Corn and Poblano Soup: I’m so happy that soup season is right around the corner. This soup by How Sweet It Is will be one of the first recipes I try as soon as the weather is cool enough. I have a freezer full of Papaw Hill’s corn, and this soup looks like a delicious way to use it!

Lobster, Corn, and Basil Quiche: This dish by The Perfect Pantry looks sinfully delicious. I mean, lobster in a quiche? It has to be decadent!

Snickers Apple Tart: Yep, I’ll be making this dessert by Culinary Concoctions by Peabody. Snickers and apple? Yes, please!

Hope y’all are doing well. I’m on the mend and will be back with some new creations soon. 🙂
